We are a Florida corporation doing business since 2013. Ruman Scientific is primarily a Security Company, with distributors in 22 countries and installations in 3 continents. Its founders have been involved for over 3 decades in the development and distribution of state-of-the-art American made, security technology.
Some of the technology includes:
- Trace analysis for explosive and narcotics detection
- Raman spectroscopy for substance identification
- X-Ray inspection for sea containers and vehicle inspection
- CT and AT technology for explosive detection at TSA certified International Airports
- Software Development for law enforcement applications
The founders of RUMAN Scientific provide the strategic leadership and vision behind the company. As principal shareholders, they have guided RUMAN Scientific, established in Miami in 2013, into becoming a trusted provider of advanced security technologies and specialized distribution solutions.
With a combined track record of over three decades in the global security and defense sectors, the founders were integral contributors to the development and deployment of the first airport trace-detection systems in the early 1990s. This pioneering work laid the foundation for what is now a globally mandated screening technology.
Their professional backgrounds include senior roles within leading multinational corporations such as Raytheon, GE, and L3 Communications. They have directed high-impact technology implementations for the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service across American embassies throughout Latin America, as well as at major airports, seaports, and federal institutions from Canada to Argentina.
In addition, the founders established the Latin American Security Association (ALAS), now recognized as the largest and most influential security association in the region, with active chapters across nearly all Latin American countries.
